Youth Soccer 2026
Get ready for another exciting season of youth soccer with the Augusta Recreation Commission! We are excited to continue building a fun, positive, and energetic soccer experience for kids in our community.
Whether your child is brand new to soccer or already loves the game, this program is designed to help players learn skills, build confidence, stay active, and most importantly — HAVE FUN!
Program Focus
Our Youth Soccer Program emphasizes:
- Skill development and fundamentals
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
- Physical activity and healthy competition
- Learning the game in a positive environment
- Building friendships and confidence
Players will learn age-appropriate soccer skills including:
- Dribbling
- Passing
- Shooting
- Defense
Program Details
- Like last season, this is a 6-game season with score not being officially kept
- Open to boys and girls of various age divisions (see flyer)
- Practices held during the week
- Games played on scheduled game days (Saturdays)
- Volunteer coaches help lead teams throughout the season
- Focus on development, participation, and fun
Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where every player can grow, improve, and enjoy the game of soccer regardless of experience level!
COST: $35 - $40 Depending on division
